The Pensions Network

I was pleased to be asked to give a talk at a Pensions Network meeting on March 12th. As it was after dinner it needed to be a little light-hearted, quite provocative and not too long, as the bar would beckon.

John “Mr SIPP” Moret was chairing the event and needed my title in advance. As I was going to talk about the huge 60+market opportunity but also the probability, of major reputational and financial damage as a result of unsuitable DB to DC advice, I gave him the title “What could possibly go wrong.”

I was tempted to change my talk to reflect the pandemic and demonstrate my prescience, but honesty prevailed.
