Extraordinary City

Interesting meeting with a client in the City on March 17th to discuss a White Paper I am drafting for them.

My train from Chiswick to Waterloo was almost completely empty; normally it would be jammed. I walked to Gresham Street to avoid the Waterloo to City Tube “The Drain” but risked it on the way back. I had a compartment to myself. First time in my life!

The City itself was about 25% of its normal week-day population but I noticed the bars were doing good business at lunchtime. But can’t be long before the place is empty
