2020 Markets

I scheduled a call with my IFA and my DFM (LGT Vestra) to talk about 2020 market conditions and the potential outcomes following the Election. Seems like all bets are off if Labour are elected. But Vestra believes this is unlikely and a clear Tory majority is probable. They are also pretty bullish about the UK and US markets going forward.

I’m quite sceptical regarding any kind of economic forecasting given that no one knows what is going to happen tomorrow; let alone next year. Someone once said that such forecasting made astrology look sensible! In any event, must be sensible to keep an appropriate drawdown cash buffer-  even it it is only earning 1.5%
