Interesting challenge…

For the past couple of weeks I have been spending some time with Tori Global, a large international consulting business, and Miranda Seath from NextWealth. Together we have been working on a presentation in response to a request for a proposal from a major UK financial services business.

In cases like this we know that a request for a proposal will have gone to a number of organisations and our task has, as always, been to put something together that demonstrates the value that we can bring. Happily, the client allowed a reasonable time period for us to prepare the response. But, as usual in all these cases, the final version of the presentation was signed off with about an hour to spare. It looked good to me.

It was the first time I have worked with Tori and I was very impressed with their highly professional and well organised process and their commitment to winning the work. Their brand is not as well known in this segment as firms like EY and KPMG but having worked with both those players I think Tori will be gaining traction. I was also very impressed with NextWealth who provided some excellent data and insight.

Will we win the work? Time will tell!
